How we may help you
Brides are wanting their skin to be at it’s best for the wedding day. Seeking the right advice for your skin is the best thing you can do- seek an honest skin analysis! We put brides on a program that is skin problem specific so it’s different for each individual. We recommend our clients on to other skin experts as we specialize in skin health so we are not trying to go beyond what we can do and we don’t promise miracles. There’s always room for improvement with skin health and we are committed with every bride that comes into our salon to help make their skin the best it possibly can be. I love when future brides come into the salon because they are open to everything I suggest and I can do so much more for their skin my regular clients, I amp up the treatment for maximum results.
It takes time to work out which ingredients each individual skin loves and what treatments their skin responds to best. It takes a good 6 months for nails to grow from root to tip so this time frame allows nails to be as healthy, strong and shiny as they possibly can be. Our unique extra large treatment room caters for bridal parties to come in together and have manicures and pedicures a day or so before the wedding. This much needed down time before the wedding is a fun environment and we love the excitement too!
In your professional opinion how can great skin change the look of your makeup, particularly on your wedding day?
If your skin is super hydrated make-up will sit much better on your skin. Congestion and breakouts don’t tend to show up in photographs but your guests will see your skin health and glow (or lack of it) on your wedding day. In my opinion there’s nothing more confidence boosting that amazing skin. When skin does not have a good oil and water balance make-up does not retain an even application throughout the day.
Drink lots of water, at least 1L per day. Obviously eating a healthy diet and exercising contributes to healthy skin. Smoking is the worst lifestyle factor to negatively impact the skin, as that is stored in the skin that keeps the skin looking healthy and plump.
